The California State Athletic Commission released the fighter salaries and medical suspensions for Bellator 35 on Monday.
Bellator Fighting Championships‘ Season 4 kicked off on Saturday at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino. Participants in the welterweight tournament took home $10,000 with the winners bagging an extra $10,000 winning bonus.
Seven fighters were medically suspended following the event in Lemoore, Calif., including one tournament bout winner.
Bellator 35 Medicial Suspensions:
Brent Weedman was suspended for 60 days for a facial laceration he received during his decision win over Dan Hornbuckle. He may be cleared by a doctor, and will need to be to continue on in the welterweight tournament.
Jesus Castro was suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days following his TKO loss to Paul Ruiz.
Karina Hallinan was suspended 60 days for a right eye laceration received during her decision loss to Zoila Gurgel.
Zoila Frausto-Gurgel was suspended 180 days for a possible fractured right hand. She can have it cleared by a doctor before that time frame.
Jim Walhead was suspended 60 days for a laceration to his right eye suffered in his decision loss to Rick Hawn. He may be cleared by a doctor.
Waachiim Spirtiwolf was suspended 60 days for a facial laceration suffered during his win over Jaime Jara.
Jaime Jara was suspended for 60 days for multiple lacerations to his face, but may be cleared by a doctor
