The UFC on Versus 2 card just added an exciting middleweight match-up to its already outstanding lineup. Mark Munoz, a member of Team Blackhouse will take on the always dangerous Yushin Okami when the UFC invades Salt Lake City in August.
Munoz is coming off a fight of the night performance at UFC 112 where he defeated Kendall Grove via 2nd round TKO. His time training with the Nogueira brothers is really begining to pay off as he has won all three of his bouts as a middleweight.
Okami, who happens to be the last man to technically defeat Munoz teammate Anderson Silva, is coming off an impressive win himself. Bouncing back from a tough loss to Chael Sonnen last October, Okami gained a 2nd round TKO over Lucio Linhares at UFC Fight Night: Florian vs. Gomi.
UFC on Versus 2 will be the second UFC telecast on the Versus network which is the home of the WEC. Set to air on Sunday August 1 live from the Energy Solution Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
