VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Heavy.com was on the scene at the GM Place for today’s UFC 115 fighter weigh-ins.
All 22 fighters made weight for the event, which takes place tomorrow night.
Headliners Rich Franklin and Chuck Liddell both weighed 205 pounds for their main-event matchup. Liddell appeared to be in the best shape of his life, a change credited to new girlfriend Heidi Northcutt.
“I came into camp in shape,” Liddell said. “I’m in the best shape ever and I’m ready to go.”
Franklin said it was an honor to fight Liddell. “It’s Chuck Liddell. That’s all you have to say. It’s Chuck Liddell,” Franklin said.
Legendary Croatian Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic was a heavy crowd favorite. Cro Cop, who goes into the final fight of his UFC contract needing a win, will face fellow kickboxer Pat Barry in the co-main event of the evening.
