Former UFC star aims for Showdown welterweight title
Showdown Fights’ latest card “Respect” is now official.
The promotion announced the event earlier today.
The event features a welterweight tilt between UFC veteran Josh Burkman and undefeated Jordan Smith. In the evening’s co-main event, Tandi Schaeffer is set to debut in the sport opposite Melissa Moore. Furthermore, former UCLA football player Jerzy Siewierski will take on former BYU football player Jan Jorgenson.
The event is set for September 24 at the McKay Event Center in Orem, Utah. Tickets for the event are available now. Students and members of the military will be able to purchase tickets for only $10 with proper identification. Further information can be found at www.showdownfights.com.
