Top welterweight contender to face Rick Story
UFC welterweight Thiago Alves is expected to face Rick Story at the UFC’s traditional Memorial Day weekend event in Las Vegas.

Alves defeated John Howard during his last bout at UFC 124. The American Top Team product looked the best he has in years after hiring nutritionist Mike Dolce to change up his dietary habits. Alves had a habit of missing weight for prior fights, but said Dolce’s changes had him feeling better than ever.
Story beat the previously-undefeated Johny Hendricks at the Ultimate Fighter Finale earlier this month to run his record to 12-3. The victory was his fifth Octagon win in a row.
