Brian Ebersole steps in for Carlos Condit at UFC 127
The news broke on Wednesday that Carlos Condit was forced to withdraw from his scheduled UFC 127 match up with Chris “Lights Out” Lytle due to a knee injury, and Heavy.com has confirmed that Brian Ebersole will step in as his replacement.
Ebersole is on a 5-fight win streak, last competing in July of 2010.
Lytle is on a 4-fight win streak, defeating former welterweight champion Matt Serra at UFC 119 in his last outing.
UFC 127 takes place on Feb. 26 at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia and is headlined by welterweights Jon Fitch and B.J. Penn.
