Bellator 37 ratings were down from the promotion’s two previous events of their Season 4 schedule, drawing 173,000 viewers on MTV 2.
Bellator 37 took place March 19 at Lucky Star Casino in Concho, Okla., and featured the opening round of the Season 4 eight-man featherweight tournament.
The two-hour event went up against the NCAA men’s basketball tournament and the UFC 128: Shogun vs. Jones Facebook stream.
Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, Wilson Reis, Daniel Straus and Kenny Foster advanced to the semifinals of the featherweight tournament with wins.
Bellator’s next event, Bellator 38, takes places place on March 26 at the Harrah’s Tunica Hotel and Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. The event features the opening round of the Season 4 Light Heavyweight Tournament, and airs live on MTV2.
