“MMAjunkie.com KO Invitational” set for Sunday

Full Tilt Poker and MMAjunkie.com have teamed up for the inaugural “MMAjunkie.com KO Invitational this Sunday.

The no-limit Texas Hold’em tournament will take place at 2 p.m. ET and give players plenty of opportunities to rack in some winnings. For each professional player an individual knocks out, he or she will recieve a $25 bounty, while a $1 bounty will be received for every other player one knocks out in the tournament.

The list UFC favorites who will be participating in the event include UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer and UFC welterweight Mike Swick. Also, plenty of professional poker players will be competing in the tournament as well, including Michael Mizrachi, who is known in poker circles worldwide as “The Grinder,” and Patrik Antonius, who holds the record for the biggest pot earned in online poker history, winning $1,356,946 in a single hand.

The buy-in for the event is $5 + $0.50, and anyone with a Full Tilt Poker account can enter into the tournament. The tournament will be nine-handed with $1,280 in guaranteed prize money. You can sign up for the tournament by heading over to fulltiltpoker.com.
