Nam Phan is out of his “UFC Fight Night 24 match up with Leonard Garcia. Chan Sung Jung, “The Korean Zombie,” steps in and gets his rematch with Garcia.
An undisclosed injury has forced Nam Phan out of the March 26 event. The UFC announced the change on Wednesday via their official Twitter account.
Jung made his American debut against Garcia at WEC 48 in April of 2010, losing a controversial split decision. Now, he’ll get the opportunity to avenge the loss he feels the judges got wrong.
Jung last fought on Sept. 30, 2010, losing by knockout to George Roop.
The rematch will kick of the main card on Spike TV.
“UFC Fight Night: Nogueira vs. Davis” takes place on March 26 at the Key Arena in Seattle and is headlined by light heavyweights Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Phil Davis.
