Mazzagatti assigned UFC 132 main event duties
Referee Steve Mazzagatti will oversee the bantamweight title fight between top contender Urijah Faber and champion Dominick Cruz that is set to headline UFC 132 this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Also, judges Patricia Morse-Jarmon, Glenn Trowbridge, and Sal D’Amato will score the five round contest from their cageside positions. Several other referees, including Herb Dean, and other judges will also be available to work at the event.
MMAjunkie.com learned of the assignments at the monthly Nevada State Athletic Commission meeting earlier today.
UFC 132 is set for July 2 and features the aforementioned bantamweight title tilt, along with a middleweight clash between Wanderlei Silva and Chris Leben. The event will serve as the UFC’s annual Fourth of July weekend show.
