Lee, Cariaso meet in Birmingham
Bantamweights Vaughan Lee and Chris Cariaso are set to meet at UFC 138 this November in England.
The preliminary card match up was announced by the UFC earlier today.
Cariaso, a two-fight veteran of the UFC, debuted against Will Campuzano at “UFC: Fight For The Troops II,” earning a unanimous decision victory. In his second fight, however, he was defeated by Michael McDonald via split decision at UFC 130.
Now, he looks to improve his record to 2-1 against newcomer Lee, who has compiled a record of 11-6-1 throughout his MMA career. Currently on a three-fight winning streak, Lee has displayed his ability to finish fights, having fought to the judges’ scorecards only once.
UFC 138 is set for Birmingham, England on November 5 and features a middleweight main event between Chris Leben and Mark Munoz. The event’s main card will broadcast via same-day tape delay on Spike TV.
