While Alves looks to take a step back towards contention, Abedi looks to introduce himself to UFC fans worldwide. He has yet to fight any notable mixed martial artist during his career, but his career record stands at 8-0, having won every single fight he has competed in since his debut in 2006.
UFC 138 is set for Birmingham, England on November 5 and features a main event between middleweight contenders Chris Leben and Mark Munoz.
