Controversial middleweight inks new contract

UFC middleweight Michael Bisping has signed a new eight-fight deal with the promotion.

The news comes courtesy of MMAjunkie.com, who confirmed the story with Bisping’s manager Anthony McGann.

Bisping recently completed filming on the 14th season of The Ultimate Fighter, where he coaches a team of featherweights and bantamweights against Jason “Mayhem” Miller. The coaches will face off in the main event of the Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale on Dec. 3 in Las Vegas.

The bout will mark Bisping’s return to the Octagon after a controversial win over Jorge Rivera at UFC 127 in February.
