Marquardt debuts with BAMMA this December
Former UFC middleweight top contender Nate Marquardt is prepared to make his BAMMA debut on December 10.
The British promotion confirmed the news on Wednesday.
Marquardt and the promotion came to an agreement on a multi-fight contract this past July.
The bout will be Marquardt’s first since his release from the UFC roster after his medical tests showed levels of testosterone above the set limit to compete. He was forced out of his main event bout at “UFC on Versus 4” against Rick Story the day before fight night as a result and then was consequently cut by president Dana White.
BAMMA 8 takes place on December 10 at Nottingham, England’s Capital FM Arena. An opponent has yet to be named for Marquardt, but he has stated that he would be interested in taking on Paul Daley.
