Sapp, Gracie meet in Indonesia
A heavyweight tilt between Rolles Gracie and Bob Sapp is scheduled for One FC 2 in Indonesia next month.
The promotion has confirmed the bout for the main event of its second card.
Sapp last fought last December, losing via technical knockout to Maro Perak. The loss was his third in a row, and the heavyweight has not won a contest in nearly two years. A loss to Gracie would be his seventh in eight fights.
Meanwhile, Gracie continues in his efforts to put his dismal UFC 109 performance – his lone bout under the Zuffa banner – as far behind him as possible. Since that loss, which came at the hands of Joey Beltran in what was one of the more baffling competitions in recent memory, he has won two straight, both via submission.
One FC 2 takes place on February 11 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The heavyweight contest will be one of five main card fights.
