UFC Bantamweight Contender Urijah Faber’s Book Out Tuesday

Former featherweight champ publishes first book

Former featherweight champ and current top bantamweight contender Urijah Faber is now a published author.

Faber, who will fight for the interim bantamweight title at UFC 148 in July, has his first book out on Tuesday – “The Laws of the Ring.” The book is available at online retailers like Amazon.com, as well as brick-and-mortar retailers. It carries a list price of $25.99, though Amazon.com has it on sale for $17.14.

According to the book’s description, Faber will tell the story of how he became one of the most successful lighter weight fighters in history, from his early days on the regional circuit to becoming a WEC champion, from owning his own gym and clothing line to coaching on “The Ultimate Fighter.”

Faber will share his “36 laws of power” in the book – the “life lessons he’s learned along his unconventional path, drawing from personal experience to give readers a sense of life inside the ring – and show how to take those lessons into their own worlds.”

Faber is the latest UFC star to pen a book, joining Chael Sonnen, whose book came out earlier this month. Other UFC stars with books in recent years include Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Matt Hughes, Tito Ortiz and Brock Lesnar.
