Rousey featured in ESPN The Magazine Body Issue

Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be one of 27 athletes featured “Artistically Nude” in ESPN The Magazine’s “The Body Issue,” which will be available on July 13.

The athletes posed nude for ESPN, though specific body parts are obviously covered by objects.

Other athletes featured this year include the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year Tyson Chandler, New England Patriot’s Tight End Rob Gronkowski, and the WNBA’s Candace Parker.

Seven members from the U.S. Olympic Volleyball Team will also be included in the magazine.

Rousey’s climb to fame continues to grow after defeating Miesha Tate for the title last March and she will be the only mixed martial artist featured in this year’s issue. Jon Jones and Gina Carano were featured in previous years.

“Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman” will be the next time we see the champ in the cage. Rousey defends her title against Sarah Kaufman in the headliner of the August 18 card.
