UFC 147 drug tests clean
The drug test results from UFC 147 are in, and all fighters tested submitted clean samples.
UFC vice president of government and regulatory affairs, Marc Ratner, revealed the news to MMAjunkie.com today.
All 22 fighters who competed at UFC 147 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on June 23 were tested for performance enhancing drugs and other illicit drugs.
The testing was done via third party, considering there is no regulatory body in Brazil as there would be in Las Vegas, or other cities which host UFC events in the United States.
UFC 147 featured a catchweight rematch between Rich Franklin and Wanderlei Silva. Franklin earned the decision victory after the fight went the full five rounds.
