Two bouts added to UFC 152
A pair of contests has been added to UFC 152 today.
Welterweights Dan Miller and Sean Pierson will meet at the September event, as will featherweights Cub Swanson and Charles Oliveira.
UFC 152 takes place in Toronto on September 22. The event features a flyweight title fight between Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson.
The main card broadcasts live on pay-per-view, while the preliminary card will likely find a home on FX, FUEL TV, or Facebook.
Miller last competed in June against Ricardo Funch, earning a much-needed submission victory. The win was just his third in his past eight contests.
Like his upcoming opponent, Pierson recently snapped a losing streak of his own, earning a unanimous decision, also in June, against Jake Hecht.
In the featherweight contest, Swanson looks to continue rising up the 145 lb. ranks after losing in his UFC debut. He has won back-to-back fights, against Ross Pearson and George Roop, via technical knockout.
Meanwhile, Oliveira looks to continue his perfect run as a featherweight since dropping down from lightweight after going without a win in three straight contests. He has back-to-back stoppage wins, like Swanson, except his have come by way of submission.
