Stephens meets Edwards this October
A lightweight tilt between Jeremy Stephens and Yves Edwards is likely for “UFC on FX 5” this October.
MMAjunkie.com reported the contest earlier today.
“UFC on FX 5” takes place on October 5 in Minneapolis and features a heavyweight main event between Travis Browne and Antonio Silva.
Edwards last fought at “The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale,” losing via unanimous decision to Tony Ferguson. The longtime veteran is 1-2 in his last three fights.
Meanwhile, Stephens is on a two-fight losing streak, last competing in May. He has back-to-back losses to Donald Cerrone and Melvin Guillard.
