“TUF: The Smashes” airs on ESPN in Great Britain
“The Ultimate Fighter: Australia vs. UK” will air on ESPN in the United Kingdom, beginning this month.
The season kicks off on September 19, featuring coaches George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson.
Nicknamed “The Smashes,” this season features an Australian team headed by Sotiropoulos and a British team headed by Pearson. Eight welterweights and eight lightweights will compete during the season.
The season will also air in Australia on FX, premiering the same night.
In other “Ultimate Fighter” news, the UFC also announced this week that the promotion was heading to India with its acclaimed reality series, debuting “The Ultimate Fighter: India” next year.
