Dana White: Brock Lesnar Is Never Coming Back, Fedor Either

Brock Lesnar Return to UFC Unlikelybrock lesnar with ufc belt

Bad news for Brock Lesnar (UFC) fans.

UFC President Dana White did a very candid interview with Dave Farra and Jason Mahoney of the Dave and Mahoney radio show in Las Vegas this morning where he revealed several interesting UFC nuggets. Among those nuggets, White said that he talked to Brock Lesnar recently and “Brock Lesnar is never coming back. He called me a few days ago.” The UFC President also went on to say that Lesnar’s body just wasn’t holding up enough to ever return to the UFC.

When asked about whether or not he tried to make a Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko fight, White laughed and finally conceded that he “maybe” tried to make the bout. But that Fedor “isn’t coming out of retirement. He’s done too.”

Lesnar last fought in December of 2011, where he lost to Alistair Overeem via TKO in the first round. Following the loss, Lesnar announced his retirement during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan. In the following months, he made a return to professional wrestling with the WWE.
