Perez, Bloodworth meet at year-end show
Bantamweights Erik Perez and Byron Bloodworth meet at UFC 155 at the end of this year.
The December 29 show, the promotion’s final show of 2012, takes place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
The 135 lb. contest was announced by UFC officials earlier this week.
Bloodworth debuted in the UFC as a featherweight last year, losing to Mike Easton via technical knockout. The loss led to his decision to drop to the bantamweight limit.
Meanwhile, Perez debuted at “The Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale,” earning a submission victory over John Albert.
UFC 155 features a heavyweight title fight between champion Junior dos Santos and top contender Cain Velasquez.
