A highly-anticipated rematch between Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson and Gilbert Melendez has been announced as a featured bout for the Dec. 19 “Strikeforce: Evolution” show. Thomson defeated Melendez in June 2008 to capture the belt.
