Sobral, Lawler Top Earners From Strikeforce: Los Angeles

The two fighters that made up the main event of last Wednesday’s “Strikeforce: Los Angeles” main card walked away from the event as top earners. Renato “Babalu” Sobral earned an even $100,000 for his victory over Robbie Lawler, who is $85,000 richer after the 195-pound catchweight fight.

MMAjunkie.com first reported the numbers this afternoon.

No other fighters on the card really came close to touching the figures seen by the two UFC veterans, but middleweights Tim Kennedy and Trevor Prangley each went home with $30,000, while K.J. Noons took home a hefty $25,000 of his own. In total, the 12 fighters earned $295,000 combined, with Lawler and Sobral making up well over half of that figure.
