All eight fighters who were drug tested at February’s UFC 110 show in Australia tested clean for performance-enhancing drugs and recreational drugs.
MMAJunkie.com confirmed the news with a UFC official today.
The NSW Combat Authority, the sanctioning body for the February 21 event in Sydney, would not divulge all of the fighters who were randomly selected for testing. The commission did indicate that headliners Cain Velasquez and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira were tested. Main event fighters on UFC cards are always tested.
The UFC typically handles testing in-house for overseas events in countries that lack a commission, but Sydney is overseen by the NSWCA.
