Liddell vs. Franklin Headlines UFC 115

The UFC is making the trip up to Canada for “UFC 115: Liddell vs. Franklin” on June 12, and tickets for the summer event will be available to fans this week.

The UFC made the announcement today that Tuesday is the first day for fans to get their hands on tickets for the event featuring two former champions and legends of the sport. UFC Fight Club members will have a presale opportunity tomorrow, April 13, while the Newsletter presale is set for Wednesday of this week. The public on-sale date is Thursday, April 15, making tickets available for anyone interested in attending the June event. Ticket prices range from $76 to $601, and fans traveling to Canada will receive a special room rate of $185 at the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton.

UFC 115 is set for Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on June 12 at General Motors Place. The event features the return of Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell to the Octagon after over one year of inactivity in the UFC light heavyweight division. His opponent, former middleweight champion Rich Franklin, has made the move up to the 205-pound weight class, looking for another run at UFC gold.

Also on the card, former PRIDE sensation Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic will face dynamic striker Pat Barry, along with a welterweight contest between contenders Paulo Thiago and Martin Kampmann. Rounding out the card, former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit and hot prospect Rory MacDonald are set to duel, while Tyson Griffin and Evan Dunham battle for a slot on the lightweight contenders list. However, a welterweight rematch between Thiago Alves and Jon Fitch has been announced for the event, but has yet to be confirmed as an official match up for the evening’s main card.
