“UFC Primetime: Jackson vs. Evans” Debuts May 29

The UFC 114-headlining fight between Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans will be the focus of the third edition of “UFC Primetime.”

Spike TV officials confirmed the news with Heavy.com today.

The show will debut May 12 at 11 p.m. ET, with the remaining two episodes airing May 19 and May 26 in the same time slot. Spike TV will announce replay dates for each episode in the next few days.

The show will follow Jackson and Evans in real time as they prepare for their much-anticipated grudge match. The footage shown in each episode will have been shot in the last seven days, up to and including the day before. Much like the previous two installments of the show, viewers will be afforded an inside and intimate look at each fighter’s preparation for the bout.

UFC 114 takes place May 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Forrest Griffin will take on Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the co-main event.
