UFC CEO and Chairman Lorenzo Fertitta is set to give a keynote speech at the UFC Fan Expo this Saturday in front of the many fans in attendance. The promotion made the announcement today, stating that Fertitta’s speech will take place at 12 p.m. PT the same day as the highly anticipated UFC 114, which features the ultimate of grudge matches between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans. Following his speech, which is set for the main stage on May 29 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Fertitta will hold a Question and Answer segment for the fans in attendance.
“People are drawn to the UFC, not only for exciting fights, but also because the athletes are so fan-friendly,” stated Fertitta in the official UFC press release. “We feel the UFC is the most exciting live event in the world, and that the fights transcend all cultures and languages.”
The UFC Fan Expo is set to coincide with the May 29 event UFC 114 this weekend. The Expo features superfights between some of the best grapplers on the planet and interactive experiences for the fans, granting the faithful followers of the sport a chance to meet some of the sport’s biggest superstars.
