Court McGee, Kris McCray Meet In TUF 11 Final

The finals for the 11th season of The Ultimate Fighter are set.

Team Liddell’s Court McGee will meet Team Ortiz/Franklin’s Kris McCray in a featured bout at “The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale.” The event takes place next Saturday, June 19, at the Pearl at the Palms Casino on Las Vegas.

Both fighters were given second chances on the show after being eliminated, and both made the most of their opportunities.

McGee, who defeated Seth Baczynski to earn his spot in the house, ultimately lost to season favorite Nick Ring in the opening round of the tournament. He was brought back into the fray after an injury forced teammate Rich Attonito off the show. McGee then defeated James Hammortree and Brad Tavares to earn his spot in the finale.

McCray defeated Cleburn Walker to get into the house. He was defeated by Josh Bryant in the opening round, but was given a second chance when he was inserted into the first-ever Ultimate Fighter wild card bout. McCray and Kyacey Uscola faced off, with the winner earning a spot in the quarterfinals. McCray defeated Uscola, then went on to beat Kyle Noke to earn a spot in the semifinals, where he beat Bryant in a rematch.

“The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale” is headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Matt Hamill and Keith Jardine. The other Ultimate Fighter contestant bouts include Chris Camozzi vs. James Hammortree, Seth Baczynski vs. Brad Tavares and Jamie Yager vs. Rich Attonito, all of which take place on the preliminary card.
