Ross Pearson vs. Cole Miller In The Works For Fight Night 22

A lightweight scrap between Ross “The Real Deal” Person (11-3) and Cole Miller (16-4) is in the works for UFC Fight Night 22.

The contracts between Pearson and Miller have yet to be signed, both men have verbally agreed to the bout.

Ultimate Fight Night 22 will serve as a lead-in for season 12 of the “Ultimate Fighter” and is expected to take place September 15th in Texas. The event is expected to take place in either Austin or San Antonio.

After winning the 9th season of the “Ultimate Fighter”, Pearson has gone 2-0 in the octagon. In Pearson’s last fight he defeated the Russian/German kick boxer Dennis Siver at Ultimate Fight Night 21. With a win over Miller, Pearson will look to place himself one more step up the ladder in the lightweight division.

Cole Miller last saw action when he submitted Dan Lauzon with an unorthodox kimura; from an inverted inverted triangle choke position at UFC 108. The bout with Lauzon earned Miller “Submission of the Night” honors. Miller will look to up his UFC record to 6-2 with a win over the dangerous Pearson.
