UFC 118 Prelims On Spike TV

The final two preliminary fights on the UFC 118 preliminary card will make up another undercard special on SpikeTV when the UFC travels to Boston, Massachusetts for the first time this August.

MMAjunkie.com confirmed the news of the one-hour special with a source close to the event.

The two fights that will make the broadcast have yet to be decided, but a lightweight contest between Massachusetts native Joe Lauzon and Terry Etim, along with a middleweight contest between Alessio Sakara and Jorge Rivera seem to be the front runners to make the SpikeTV time slot.

UFC 118 was just recently made official by the promotion, who slotted a lightweight championship rematch between title holder Frank Edgar and BJ Penn as the main event for the evening. A long-rumored bout between world-famous boxer James Toney and multiple-time UFC champion Randy Couture will also be featured on the main card. Both aforementioned preliminary fights have been made official by the promotion for the August 28 card at the TD Garden in Boston.
