Bonnar vs. Pokrajac Planned For TUF 12 Finale

Former TUF finalist to face Cro Cop training partner

“The Ultimate Fighter” season one finalist Stephan Bonnar will face Croatian Igor Pokrajac at the Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale in December.

That’s the word from ESPN’s Jon Anik, who first reported the news on Friday afternoon. Heavy.com has confirmed with sources close to the promotion that the fight is currently planned for the event, but has not been finalized as of press time.

The event is planned for Dec. 4 at the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The evening will crown the winner of the upcoming season of the popular reality show, which features Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck as opposing coaches.

St. Pierre and Koscheck are scheduled to face off one week later for St. Pierre’s UFC welterweight championship.

Bonnar broke a three-fight losing streak in July with a stirring victory over Krzysztof Soszynski at UFC 116. Pokrajac, meanwhile, is coming off his first UFC victory, a submission of James Irvin at UFC on Versus 2 in San Diego last month.
