A welterweight tilt between Duane Ludwig and Amir Sadollah is in the works for UFC Fight Night 24 this March.

MMAjunkie.com first reported the match up earlier today.

Sadollah, a former “Ultimate Fighter” winner, last fought at “UFC 122: Marquardt vs. Okami” in Germany this past November, defeating Peter Sobotta by unanimous decision. The win was his third in four contests, with the other two wins coming against Phil Baroni and Brad Blackburn, while the loss came against Dong Hyun Kim. Sadollah is 4-2 as a professional mixed martial artist.

Sadollah’s upcoming opponent, a fighter with over 30 professional fights, will walk into the cage with experience on his side. Ludwig returned to the Ultimate Fighting Championship after nearly a four year absence at UFC 108 last January, losing to Jim Miller via submission. He would go on to lose his next contest after injury his leg during a takedown, but returned against Nick Osipczak at UFC 122, picking up a split decision victory.

UFC Fight Night 24 is set for March 24 in Seattle, Washington and will likely feature a light heavyweight bout between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Tito Ortiz. In what could very well be the co-main event of the evening, Dan Hardy is set to face off against Anthony Johnson at the 170 lb. mark.
