“Countdown to UFC 127” set to debut later this month
The “Countdown to UFC 127” will debut on Spike TV and Versus on February 24.
The show will take a look into the upcoming UFC 127 that will take place on February 27. The show will feature a welterweight contender bout between former top contender Jon Fitch and former champion B.J. Penn, who returned to the 170 lb. division last year. A preview of Jorge Rivera and Michael Bisping‘s upcoming co-main event clash will also be previewed.
The remainder of the five-fight main card, which is set for the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, includes George Sotiropoulos vs. Dennis Siver, Carlos Condit vs. Chris Lytle, and Chris Camozzi vs. Kyle Noke.
And fans will have several opportunities to check out the preview show, as it will debut on Versus at 8 p.m. ET and then later that evening on Spike TV at 11 p.m. Replays for the hour-long special will air on Spike TV at 6 p.m. ET on both February 25 and 26.
