Two Octagon veterans return this summer

A middleweight bout between Tim Credeur and Ed Herman is scheduled for the Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale.

Sources close to the bout informed HeavyMMA.com of the news on Saturday morning.

The event, which will be headlined by a lightweight contender’s bout between Clay Guida and Anthony Pettis, takes place June 4 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

It will be Credeur’s first fight since September 16, 2009, when he lost to Nate Quarry at UFC Fight Night 19. The Louisiana native has since been kept out of the cage due to various ailments.

Herman has not appeared in the Octagon since UFC 102 in August 2009, where he lost to Aaron Simpson via TKO early in the 2nd round.
