The Ultimate Fighting Championship inked checks worth $75,000 for in-Octagon performances following “UFC 127: Penn vs. Fitch” in Sydney, Australia on Saturday.
Fight of the Night honors went to Chris “Lights Out” Lytle and Brian Ebersole. The two displayed a little bit of everything in their three-round war that resulted in Ebersole winning his UFC debut over the veteran.
Submission of the Night bonus money went to Australian Kyle Noke for his rear naked choke submission win over Chris Camozzi.
The Knockout of the Night award went to Sydney resident Mark Hunt for his uppercut knockout of Chris Tuchscherer.
UFC 127 sold out in 22 minutes. 18,186 fans packed the Acer Arena generating gate figures of $3.5 million.
