Kendall Grove, Chuck O’ Neill Cut From UFC Roster

Former TUF stars released after losses

“The Ultimate Fighter 3” winner Kendall Grove and season 13 semi-finalist Chuck O’Neill were recently cut from the promotion.

The pair announced their respective terminations on Facebook.

Grove lost a unanimous decision to Tim Boetsch at UFC 130. It was his second loss in a row and third in his past five fights. Grove defeated Ed Herman to win the third season of the reality show, but went 4-6 in his final 10 UFC fights.

O’Neill was cut after just one UFC fight, a unanimous-decision loss to Chris Cope at the TUF 13 Finale. He was a substitute on the show who entered the season after early favorite Myles Jury was forced out due to an injury. He was then defeated by Zack Davis, but earned a wild card spot and made his way to the semi-finals after defeating Javier Torres and Davis in a rematch. It was fairly obvious in O’Neill’s bout with Cope that he wasn’t quite ready for UFC-level fights.
