Heavyweights collide at UFC on Versus 6

A heavyweight clash between Stefan Struve and Pat Barry has been confirmed for UFC on Versus 6 in October.

UFC President Dana White confirmed the fight on Tuesday afternoon.

Struve is the heavyweight division’s tallest competitor and Barry the shortest, which means that, if nothing else, we’re in for an interesting visual fight.

Barry lost in stunning fashion at UFC on Versus 4 to Cheick Kongo in a fight he was dominating. Barry came close to finishing Kongo in the first round, but Kongo knocked Barry out cold with a desperation right hand. It was one of the most impressive comebacks in UFC history.

Struve lost via knockout to Travis Browne in his last Octagon outing at UFC 130 in May.

UFC on Versus 4 is headlined by a UFC bantamweight title fight between Dominick Cruz and Demetrious Johnson.
