Terry Etim vs. Eddie Faaloloto Promoted To UFC 138 Main Card

Terry Etim

Lightweight contest completes UFC 138 main card

The meeting between 155-pound competitors Terry Etim and Edward Faaloloto has been added to the main card of UFC 138 in England this November.

Matt Brown and John Hathaway were originally set to meet on the main card of the event, but Hathaway was forced to pull out of the bout due to injury. Brown was rescheduled against Seth Baczynski, and the bout was moved to UFC 139 in San Jose.

Etim will be competing in front of his fellow countrymen for the first time since his 2009 victory over Shannon Gugerty at UFC 105. The victory was his fourth in a row, but a loss to Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 112 put that streak to an abrupt end. Etim has not fought since that contest in April of 2010.

Faaloloto, unlike his upcoming opponent, has yet to earn his first UFC victory, losing his debut with the promotion to Michael Johnson at UFC on Versus 4. Prior to that loss, he was defeated in his WEC debut by Anthony Njokuani, putting him in a must-win situation in what will be only his fifth professional fight.

The lightweight contest will take place on a main card headlined by middleweight contenders Chris Leben and Mark Munoz on November 5 in Birmingham, England. The LG Arena at the National Exhibition Center will play host to the event, which will air via same-day tape delay on Spike TV.
