Of note is that Lincoln leads the fray with 7 nominations with Argo and Django following behind with just 5 noms each. As far as upsets go, The Beasts of the Southern Wild, one of the best films of the year, in my opinion, was completely shut out mostly due to a lack of star power in that film.
