Alright. We’re being yanked all over the place. Last week, we heard rumors that a number of actors were being considered for the role of Captain America (John Krasinski, Michael Cassidy, Patrick Fluger, Scott Porter, Mike Vogel and Chace Crawford). But now WorstPreviews.com is reporting that Dane Cook has auditioned for the role.
Apparently, Cook updated his twitter account saying, “I’m minus 7% body fat now, bones replaced w/lightweight scandium alloy! Had to get shredded (pictured) for Captain America audition and standup tour.”
A fan then responded by asking if he was really going to audition and Cook answered, “I did already. They might be going young. I say go RDJr route – give me the part!” (Captain Obvious note: RDJr being Robert Downey Jr).
Here’s a little geek news for you: Captain America becomes the leader of the Avengers. The Avengers consist of Thor, Iron Man, The Hulk and more. Now which one of those guys do you see taking orders from Dane Cook?
