WATCH: Freddie Gibbs’ “Crushed Glass” Music Video

Freddie Gibbs has made his return to music in the form of some eerie Instagram posts that eventually led to the release of a music video for “Crushed Glass”. Along with the music video release comes the announcement of Freddie Gibbs’ latest project “You Only Live Twice”. The music video starts with Gibbs waking up abandoned in the desert and from the beginning we’re hearing a different Freddie Gibbs. The Gary, Indiana emcee addresses allegations against him from last year, our president, the justice system and more in this video.

The last time we heard from the Indiana emcee was in 2015 and the release of his third full-length album “Shadow of a Doubt”. In June of 2016, Gibbs was arrested on alleged an rape committed in 2015. Gibbs spent the next couple months battling the case until he was acquitted of all charges in late September. “Crushed Glass” is the first single from “You Only Live Twice” which will be released March 31st with CD & Vinyl dropping in May.
