15 years ago today Christopher George Latore Wallace was shot in LA during a drive by. To this day no one has been charged with his murder. Every couple of years someone comes up with some new information, but this may be one that’s never solved – someone’s good at keeping secrets. His double disc, Life After Death, came out 15 days after his murder and went to #1 on the Billboard charts, ultimately receiving Diamond status; a rare achievement for a hip-hop album. Thankfully, Biggie hasn’t released as many albums as Tupac has since his demise, so we are pretty much left with what we had in 1997.
