‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Paris Premiere Canned After Shooting

After the horrific theater shooting in Colorado, the Paris premiere of The Dark Knight Rises is officially canceled. The red carpet was dismantled this morning from the theater next to the Champs Elysees. The entire cast who were slated for interviews from all of France’s top news sites have been asked by Warner Brothers to remain silent until further notice.

Paris native and TDNR star Marion Cotillard was expected to make her grand Parisian entrance tonight, followed by a one on one interview with the France’s number one news station, TF1. Cotillard also canceled other interviews with all press agencies for the rest of the week.

Warner Brothers must be running circles finding ways to mitigate the potential PR crisis for the movie’s release. No word on when or if the premiere will be rescheduled.
