A 14-year-old girl has been charged with murder, after a teenage boy was found stabbed to death in Brixton, and district in south London, England. Police found the body of Junior Nkwelle on the Loughborough Estate just before 9:25pm on Thursday. The young girl’s court date is Monday.
In addition to the girl, a 16-year-old boy is being held in a south London police station on suspicion of murder. No word yet on how that relates to this murder.
Junior Nkwelle lived on the estate where his body was found and pronounced dead on the scene. Flowers have been laid outside a block of flats in the estate in his honor. He was known around the neighborhood as a “quiet guy,” role model, and talented soccer player (or as they would put it, “footballer”).
