‘Al-Qaeda’ Bomb Threat at University of Texas: Campus Evacuated

A bomb threat — supposedly from al-Qaeda — forced the evacuation of the University of Texas at Austin campus today.

Administrators told everyone to get “as far away as possible.”

The threat came just after 8:30 a.m., with the caller saying explosives were planted across the campus and that they would go off in 90 minutes.

Some 50,000 students attend school at the UT Campus.

No explosives have been found. Meanwhile, there was a bomb threat and evacuation today at North Dakota State University.
