Lexus Australia Pulls Ads from 2Day FM Over Royal Prank

Mel Greig and Michael Christian

According to TMZ, Lexus Australia has pulled all its ads from 2Day FM, the radio station home of Mel Greig and Michael Christian and where they committed the Royal Prank that resulted in the suicide of Jacintha Saldanha.

We warned earlier today that advertisers were beginning to pull out of the station. Pressure is mounting as Australian regulatory agencies are being swamped with complaints, social media is out for the blood of the DJs, and now 2Day FM is getting hit in its wallet.

So far no word of the station attempting to distance itself from Mel Greig and Michael Christian, but if advertisers like Lexus keep pulling out, eventually the station will probably cave.
