DEA Agents Scored Hooker for Secret Service Agent in Colombia

Secret Service Prostitution Scandal

Remember the story about those U.S. Secret Service agents who had sexual encounters with prostitutes in Cartagena, Colombia? Well, it turns out they had some help scoring those hookers.

NBC News reports that two separate DEA agents “facilitated a sexual encounter” between a prostitute and a U.S. Secret Service agent. This encounter occurred just days before President Barack Obama visited Colombia for a summit meeting in April 2012.

However, a summary of the investigation’s findings designated that a third DEA agent present on the night of the incident was not involved in procuring the prostitute for the Secret Service agent. The summary stated the following:

While DEA agent #3 was present for a dinner that took place earlier that evening with the USSS agent and the other two DEA agents, he was not present in the residence when the sexual encounter took place and played no role in facilitating it.

The investigation into the matter also disclosed that all three DEA special agents admitted that they had purchased the sexual services of a prostitute. DEA spokesman Rusty Payne said the agency would not comment at this time. “The DEA has just received the letter and will respond to the senator at the appropriate time,” he said.
