A Blackhawk helicopter crash killed five U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan on Monday, bringing the day’s death toll to seven.

Two Special Ops soldiers were gunned down earlier Monday by an Afghan police officer wielding a truck-mounted gun. That attack also wounded 10 and killed multiple Afghan security officers.

The New York Times reports that the crash occurred around 11 p.m. local time in the Kandahar Province’s Daman district, and there was “no enemy activity” involved.

In August of last year, seven American troops died when a Blackhawk was shot down in Kandahar.
